Venous Disease

In the USA more than 30 million people suffer from Venous Disease. This number includes Varicose Veins and Chronic Venous Insufficiency. Women are at a higher risk, with an estimated 33% of women will suffer from Chronic Venous Disease (as compared to less than 20% of men).

Unfortunately, the discomfort and disability is usually progressive. This is true across the  spectrum of Venous Disease presentation, ranging from simple spider veins, to varicose veins, to venous ulcerations.

As bad as they may look and feel, many do not consider varicose veins and spider veins a serious medical problem. However, varicose veins may indicate a critical blockage in deeper veins, a condition called deep vein thrombosis, that can be life threatening.

Consequently, proper medical evaluation and treatment of varicose veins is important. Because chronic venous insufficiency is a progressive disease, symptoms will worsen if left untreated.

IV Therapy

The intravenous (IV) route is the fastest way to deliver vital fluids, essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and medications to the body. This is because people absorb I.V. fluid directly into the bloodstream with 100% efficiency, compared with approximately 50-60% or less for oral intake. This more rapidly restores optimum hydration and better supports the immune system. Thus, promoting faster recovery.

An I.V. drip usually takes just 30-45 minutes and its effects are felt almost immediately.

Hormone Therapy

Hormone therapy offers an effective way to diminish discomfort. It also lets men and women facing the pains of andropause or menopause reclaim the vibrancy of youth.

A decrease in hormones, whether estrogen or testosterone, generally causes menopause (known as andropause in men). So, replenishing these hormones is the primary goal of hormone therapy.

Bioidentical hormone pellet therapy is the most natural way possible to insert hormones into the body. Correcting hormonal imbalance can be difficult. Therefore, when enduring menopause it is important to choose a type of hormone therapy that mimics natural processes.
