Venous Disease

More than 30 million Americans suffer from Venous Disease, including Varicose Veins and Chronic Venous Insufficiency. It is estimated that 33% of women will have Chronic Venous Disease as compared to less than 20% of men. The discomfort and disability is usually progressive, with the spectrum of Venous Disease presentation ranging from simple Spider Veins to varicose veins to venous ulcerations.

As bad as they may look and feel, varicose veins and spider veins are not usually considered a serious medical problem. However, varicose veins may indicate a critical blockage in deeper veins, a condition called deep vein thrombosis, that can be life threatening. Consequently, proper medical evaluation and treatment of varicose veins is important. Because chronic venous insufficiency is a progressive disease, symptoms will worsen if left untreated.

IV Therapy

The intravenous (IV) route is the fastest way to deliver vital fluids, essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and medications to the body, to restore optimum hydration and support the immune system.

I.V. fluid is absorbed directly into the bloodstream with 100% efficiency compared with approximately 50-60% or less for oral intake. Thus it promotes faster recovery. An I.V. drip usually takes just 30-45 minutes and its effects are felt almost immediately. More about IV Therapy…

Hormone Therapy

For men and women facing the pains of andropause or menopause, hormone therapy offers a way to diminish the discomforts and reclaim the vibrancy of youth. Menopause (known as andropause in men) is generally caused by a decrease in hormones, whether testosterone or estrogen, so replenishing these hormones is the primary goal of hormone therapy. Bioidentical hormone pellet therapy is a popular way to insert hormones into the body in as natural a way as possible. Playing with hormonal imbalance can be difficult, so choosing a type of hormone therapy that mimics natural processes is a priority when enduring menopause
